Seam welding is a welding technique that uses an electric current to join two metals that are similar or dissimilar, resulting in the formation of nuggets. Adavantages 

Resistance seam welding has the advantage of producing transparentweld seams without generating gas or welding fumes. There is no such thing as Use a cushioning material to make the connection, that can stopgas>as well as liquid and offers a variety of possible applications.

This process can be fully automated, whatever it is into a highly repeatable process. In addition, seam resistance welding can produce both a seam weld and a parallel weld 

Disadvantages

While seam resistance welding is good for making connectionsin span>straight lines, rollers cannotmake more complexpipe welds. Do not weld inside corners or other components that block accessfrom to the wheel electrodes. 

This method is also not suitable for connecting sheets over 3 mm. Due to the high speed of rotation, a highly qualified operator is required to ensure the quality of welding, while welding machines they are also expensive.
